My Tasks

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Every Account in The Guard (Officer, Admin, or User) has access to the My Tasks module. This workspace is for individuals to login and complete any tasks that have been assigned to them. This area is generally focused on Training, but an Officer/Admin may delegate any Tasks (Remediation, Asset, Incident Tasks) to different Roles/Individuals in the Organization and deliver these tasks here, which can be addressed by the Assignee.

The My Tasks area will separate Tasks depending on where they come from: Training Assignments, Assessment Question Tasks, and Miscellaneous Tasks

  • Training Tasks are Training Assignments that have been assigned to the individual/organization

  • Assessment Question Tasks are those Questions in the Assessments that have been assigned to another individual for an answer by an Officer/Admin.

  • Miscellaneous Tasks are everything else, including Remediation Tasks, Custom Tasks, and Incident Tasks assigned to that individual

Any individual can access the My Tasks area and simply click on the Task they wish to open and work on. Completing the Task can be done from within this area as well. Some additional nuance with the different task types:

  • Training – To complete a Training Task, an individual must Attest to the task. This is a button at the bottom of the page when viewing a Training Task.

  • Assessment Question Tasks – An Individual assigned to these types of tasks must provide a Yes/No/Not Applicable answer and then finalize the task. Remediation Plans/Open Tasks will generate and assign to the appropriate Officer if a “No” is provided.

  • Miscellaneous Tasks – An individual may open these tasks and add Notes and Evidence, as well as Finalize the Task. Additional functionality is available to Offices/Admins with access to the Programs module (See the Programs KB)
