Dashboard
The Dashboard module is every Organization’s Landing Page. Every time an Officer/Admin for The Guard logs in they will always see the Dashboard first. The Dashboard is just like any other Dashboard and will be used for tracking progress and metrics relevant to an Organizations Compliance Program. The Dashboard is reactive – meaning that progress bars and graphs will change as changes are being made – Input is key to reflecting progress made on the Dashboard.
The Dashboard contains several Widgets and Progress Graphs detailed below.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Progress and Statistics
Statistics shown at the top are Sites & Departments, People, and Vendors. These statistics are general values relevant to information input into the Admin, People, and Vendors modules respectively.
Sites & Departments – Number of Sites/Locations and Departments built out under the Admin module
People – Number of Registered and Unregistered Accounts in The Guard. This number will not include inactive users once deactivated, but does account for % of those Awaiting Registration
Vendors – Number of Active Vendors in the Vendors Module. The % Graph is tied to the number of Active Vendors that have been Approved. Inactive Vendors are not included in the metric.
Total Progress is a graph displaying the Total Number of Tasks currently in The Guard. This number accounts for any Remediation, Asset, Training, Incident, or Custom Tasks created by The Guard or the Organization’s Officers/Admins. This graph will adjust based on the number of Tasks with Incomplete / Complete status.
Progress Breakdown is a series of smaller graphs associated to different modules: Assessments, Incidents, Remediations, and Trainings/Attestations.
Assessments – Displays the number of Finalized / Not Finalized Assessments currently active
Incidents – Displays the number of Resolved / Unresolved Incidents
Remediations – Displays the number of current Remediation Plans
Remediation Plans contain Open Tasks – This number is usually lower than the total number of Total Open Tasks, as some Remediation Plans may house multiple Open Tasks
Trainings / Attestations – Displays the number of Complete v Incomplete Training. Deactivated User training will not be counted in this Graph; All Past, Present, and Future Training tasks are accounted for with Active User Accounts.
Widgets
The Dashboard allows for small Widgets to display segments of information, as well as offer shortcuts to the corresponding Modules. The widgets can be removed from the Dashboard by selecting the Gear icon in the top-right corner of the Dashboard, then unchecking the boxes. All Info Panels will be shown, by default, each time an Officer/Admin logs in.
Viewing a Widget allows an Officer/Admin to select View More and jump into the related Module. There is no direct functionality via the Widgets to Complete or Update tasks, people, or other content.
The widgets are “windows” into these modules, but are not replacements for working within the module itself.
